Take a trip down the Sweet Tea Trail in Historic Summerville, The Birthplace of Sweet Tea, with Summerville Trolley Tours. These guided tours will take you through our small southern town where tea isn’t the only thing that is sweet. Anecdotes and history from the last 384 years will delight you as you cruise through town. Summerville’s varied architecture, lush foliage, and historic buildings make the town unique. A few highlights include the winter home of cosmetics queen Elizabeth Arden, the site where Sweet Tea was born, and one of the glorious old inns from Summerville’s heyday as a retreat. We know you’ll agree that the style and climate-controlled comfort of the trolley are the best way to see what the Flowertown in the Pines has to offer.
